Q. What is the cancellation policy at The Killarney Park?
A. Most reservations allow you to cancel or change your reservation without charge until 3 pm local time, 3 days prior to their scheduled arrival date, unless stated otherwise in the terms and conditions for the rate. Q. How long are The Killarney Park vouchers valid for?
A. The Killarney Park vouchers are valid for 5 years from the time of purchase. There will be an extension to vouchers that have been affected by Covid19 closures.
Q. Does The Killarney Park take families and children?
A. Yes, The Killarney Park is family friendly, and children of all ages are very welcome. We also offer a range of flexible accommodation options so that your family can stay together in the way that suits you best. Q. Does The Killarney Park take dogs?
A. The Killarney Park does not accommodate pets. However, as animal lovers ourselves, we know how important your furry family members are to you. They also deserve five-star treatment and a lovely place to stay, so our concierge would be happy to assist you with recommendations for wonderful local kennels.

A. The Killarney Park is located right in Killarney’s town centre. We are the only five star hotel in the town, surrounded by peaceful private gardens. Our location makes it easy for you to enjoy the bustle and craic of lively, historical Killarney (and the natural wonders of the 26,000 acre National Park next door) on foot or bicycle.

Q. Is The Killarney Park accessible by public transportation?
A. Yes, there are direct train and bus services to The Killarney Park from most major Irish cities, and easy routes from almost anywhere else in Ireland. The hotel is about a three minute walk from both the Killarney Train Station and Bus Station.
If it’s possible for you to travel by public transport, we highly recommend it. The scenery on the train approach to Killarney is particularly beautiful! Plus, choosing public transportation is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint.
Q. What is the closest airport to The Killarney Park Hotel?
A. Our closest airport is Kerry, although it has limited international flights. Most visitors arriving directly to The Killarney Park from the airport fly into Cork Airport.

Q. Can you help us arrange transfers from the airport?
A. While we do not operate our own transfer service, we are always happy to recommend private car and taxi services and assist you with booking your transfer. Just contact our concierge team for assistance.
Q. Is there parking at The Killarney Park Hotel?
A. Yes, guests may enjoy the peace of mind of free off-street parking in the hotel’s private car park. Additionally, we provide two complimentary Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers for guests who travel sustainably with electric vehicles.
Q. Can I charge my electric vehicle at The Killarney Park?
A. Yes, The Killarney Park has 2 Electric Vehicle Chargers available for guest use on a complimentary basis.
Staying
Q. Can I check in online?
A. Yes, you can complete the check-in process before arriving so that you can simply collect your keys from one of our welcoming team members at the reservations desk. You can also view and settle your bill online and then check out online, too, which can save you some time. The link is in your reservation confirmation email.
Q. What time is check-in at The Killarney Park?
A. Guests can check-in to The Killarney Park from 3pm.
While it is not always possible to accommodate requests for an earlier check in time, please let us know if you will be arriving earlier and our reservations team will do their best to help. We are always happy to store your luggage so that you can take the opportunity to explore Killarney before check in. Or, you can relax and soak up the ambiance of our comfortable lounges and restaurants with complimentary seasonal welcome drink until your room is ready.
Q. What time is check-out at The Killarney Park?
A. We request that guests vacate their rooms by 12 noon.
We cannot always accommodate requests for a later check out time, but please feel free to check with our reservations team to see what may be possible. After you check out of your room, you are very welcome to leave your luggage with the concierge while you make the most of your last hours in Killarney, or spend a little more precious time with us in our lounges and restaurants.
Q. Is there a dress code at The Killarney Park?
A. We believe that the greatest luxury of all is being comfortable in yourself. While some guests do enjoy dressing up for the sense of occasion it adds to a special dinner or afternoon tea, we do not require a formal dress code in our hotel or restaurants. We just want you to wear whatever makes you feel happiest and most at ease.
Q. What is The Killarney Park’s sustainability policy?

Q. What time is The Garden Bar open?
A. The Garden Bar serves food daily from 12:30pm until 9pm during the week and until 9:30pm on Friday and Saturday. Beverage service continues until midnight from Monday to Saturday and until 11pm on Sundays.
Q. What time is The Peregrine open?
A. Breakfast is served in The Peregrine from 7:30am until 10am midweek and until 11am Saturday and Sunday. Dinner is served in The Peregrine each weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) between 6:30pm and 9pm daily.
Q. Does The Killarney Park offer vegetarian and vegan food options?
A. Yes, we have dedicated vegetarian and vegan menus available at The Garden Bar and for Afternoon Tea. The breakfast menu and à la carte dinner menus at The Peregrine also include a choice of vegan and vegetarian-friendly options.
Q. Does The Killarney Park offer gluten free menu options?
A. All of our menus contain many options that are gluten-free adaptable. Please let your server know at the start of your meal, and they will be delighted to help you order.
Q. Does The Killarney Park accommodate food allergies?
A. Each menu at The Killarney Park clearly lists major allergens for all of our dishes. At the start of your meal, be sure to tell your server about any food allergies or sensitivities you may have so that we can assist you and make the kitchen aware. Please be advised that all of our food is made in kitchens where it may come into contact with common allergens. While we take steps to minimise risk and safely handle foods containing potential allergens, cross contamination may occur due to factors beyond our reasonable control.
Q. Do you offer picnics or packed lunches?
A. Whether you are looking for a romantic picnic with champagne and all the trimmings or supplies to fuel an afternoon of golf or hiking, we are always happy to offer you a picnic basket or packed lunch to take with you on your adventures. Please speak to the concierge at least 24 hours in advance so that we can arrange all the details.
Q. Do you have bottled water we can take with us?
A. Within the hotel, we use refillable glass water bottles, but we also offer biodegradable water cartons to help you stay hydrated as you explore the National Park and surrounding areas. If you prefer, you can purchase our refillable tin flasks: a very practical souvenir of your stay at The Killarney Park.
Relaxing
Q: Does The Killarney Park Hotel have a pool?
A1: Yes, The Killarney Park has a 20m heated indoor pool, as well as a relaxing bubble pool and an outdoor hot-tub. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and are welcome to use the pool until 7pm. The pool is reserved for adults only after 7pm.
Q: Does The Killarney Park have a spa?
A: Yes, we have a spa on-site. The Spa at Killarney Park is open from 10am to 7pm daily (with some exceptions) and is closed on Tuesdays. You can explore our range of spa facilities, treatments and nurturing rituals and make appointment bookings here.
Q. Does The Killarney Park have a salon?
A. While we do not have a salon on site, our concierge would be delighted to arrange for salon services to come to you. We can also offer recommendations for several exceptional salons in Killarney town, just a few minute’s walk away from the hotel.
Q: Does The Killarney Park have a gym?
A: Yes, The Killarney Park offers leisure facilities including a gym, pool and outdoor hot tub. The gym is available to guests on a 24hr basis and includes a wide range of equipment, including treadmill, elliptical trainer, Concept 2 rowing machine, Peloton stationary bike, cable machine, dip tower, power rack, bench, dumbbells, kettlebells, stability balls, resistance bands, yoga mats,and jump rope.

A: Starting closest to the hotel, we recommend setting aside at least a day each for Killarney town itself and the majestic Killarney National Park. Within a short walk, cycle, or trip in a horse-drawn jaunting car, you can also visit famous sights such as the Gap of Dunloe, Muckross House, Gardens & Traditional Farms, Torc Waterfall, Muckross Abbey, and more.
