Afternoon Tea

It begins with the setting. The warm elegance of The Peregrine restaurant provides the perfect backdrop for the gracious ritual of Afternoon Tea at The Killarney Park. Soft velvet, glittering chandeliers, fine china and crisp white napkins of Irish linen: every lovely detail comes together to create a joyful ambiance of refined indulgence.

It may be called Afternoon Tea, but everyone knows that the real star of the show is the iconic tiered cake stand, filled with tempting treats. Alongside dainty savouries and sandwiches, it holds a fanciful selection of delicate pastries, sweets and scones from Our Head Pastry Chef and Chocolatier Dinesh Mauree. Accompanied by handmade preserves and rich clotted cream from our local suppliers, this procession of perfect bites is a feast in perfect miniature. We have also created a vegan and vegetarian Afternoon Tea menu of plant-based delicacies. Of course, a fragrant pot of Sustainably Certified tea completes the scene, but if the occasion calls for it, you may also enjoy the addition of a creative, hand-crafted cocktail or a sparkling glass of prosecco or champagne.
